The Facebook app’s score has recently fallen from 4.0 to 2.6 on Google Playstore.
People use Facebook to connect. The application provides simplicity and freedom to express your opinion, but unfortunately, things have turned completely the opposite lately. The app does not seem to be supporting freedom of expression and voicing an opinion, at least for the Muslims as experienced by the people of South Asia, the Middle East, and Arab countries.
The applications store shows more than 5,000,000,000+ installs and 115,640,972 feedback when writing this article. This huge number indicates a score of 2.6 because people only give one “star” on various social media forums, citing unjust justice and overt inequality. The rating declined considerably on the App Store as well. The current mark for the Facebook app on the Apple App Store is 2.4.
Numerous testimonies were reportedly suspended and permanently banned for speaking out against Israeli military aggression against Palestinian Muslims.
Muslims around the world share messages of support for Palestine and, for reasons unknown, some narratives are posted for their messages. It appears to be a model not only on Facebook, but also on Instagram, which is owned by Facebook. People around the world have posted on Facebook about the ongoing tension there.
The 1 star score on the game store highlights the poor performance of the Facebook app and shows users unfortunate responses.
According to AFP, more than 200 Palestinians, including more than 50 children, were killed as a result of this Israeli aggression.
